The obnoxious insurance agent brother and his wife come in all excited, saying that they have found their vacation idea and because the grandmother has always wanted to go to Vietnam they thought they would go with her. “And if they go in the spring they get a discount.”
“That’s because it’s the rainy season. I want to go in the winter when it is not the rainy season so I can go to Cambodia as well.”
“Cambodia?! You can’t go to Cambodia, it’s dangerous! Tourists are kidnapped in Cambodia! They have landmines and parasites that eat your brain!”
At which point I dissolve into laughter.
